Send Prepared Meals to Someone You Love

Choose meals together when possible, check the exact portion and posted product details, then confirm address eligibility, fulfillment cost, and the receiving date in checkout. A clear storage and follow-up plan matters as much as the food.

Choose Current Meals and Prices

Before you send the meals

Ask five questions before choosing the meals

Who will eat the food? Which lunches or dinners need coverage? Which flavors and portions do they prefer? Is there enough refrigerator or freezer space? Who can receive and store the order? These answers prevent a thoughtful gift from becoming food the recipient cannot use.

Build the first box around real eating occasions

Count the meals the recipient expects to use, not an assumed bundle. A modest first order makes it easier to learn which dishes, portions, package formats, and reheating steps work for that household. Ask for feedback before increasing a later order.

Use the live menu and checkout as the source of truth

The menu normally updates Monday, and regular orders close Thursday 11:59 PM Eastern. Current menu pricing varies by meal and changes with the weekly menu — see the live menu for this week's prices. Checkout confirms whether the complete address is eligible, the available fulfillment method and charge, the expected date, and the final total before payment.

Make the receiving and storage handoff explicit

Tell the recipient or local helper that perishable food is coming and share the order confirmation or tracking details. Do not assume a carrier will enter the home, unpack the order, or place food in a refrigerator. Follow the receiving, storage, and reheating directions supplied with the selected items.

Check dietary needs against the exact item

SmashMeals cooks in a dedicated gluten-free facility. We do not bring wheat, barley, or rye into the building and we do not share equipment with gluten-containing production. A dedicated gluten-free facility is not an allergen-free facility. Check each meal's label for dairy, soy, egg, nuts, and other allergens. If the recipient follows a prescribed eating plan, texture requirement, or other individualized instruction, compare the actual item information with that plan and ask the appropriate clinician or registered dietitian when suitability is unclear.

SmashMeals began in Kingsport, Tennessee, in 2017 and prepares fully cooked food in a dedicated gluten-free facility. We provide prepared meals and ordering information, not prescribed medical meals, in-home assistance, or a universal plan for every recipient.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I pay while sending the meals to someone else?

Enter the recipient's complete address during checkout and confirm their permission, meal choices, storage space, and receiving plan before paying. Address eligibility is determined in checkout.

How many meals should I send?

Count the specific lunches and dinners the recipient wants covered, then compare the available portions and storage space. A manageable first order is more useful than an arbitrary bundle.

Will the carrier put the meals in the refrigerator?

Do not assume that. Arrange a local helper when the recipient needs assistance receiving, moving, unpacking, or refrigerating the order.

Are the meals suitable for every allergy or medical diet?

No. A dedicated gluten-free facility is not an allergen-free facility. Check each meal's label for dairy, soy, egg, nuts, and other allergens. Check the exact item's available label details and the recipient's individualized instructions before ordering.

How do I confirm the price and arrival date?

The live menu shows current meal prices. Checkout shows the available fulfillment charge, date, and final total for the complete destination address before payment.

Do I have to start a subscription?

No. Subscriptions are an optional convenience, not a requirement — you can pause, skip, or cancel anytime. There is no minimum and no maximum order.

Choose together. Confirm checkout. Plan the handoff.
