How Thanksgiving ordering works
- Order. Holiday items post on the menu at order.smashmeals.com. Shipped orders must be in by Thursday, November 19 at 11:59 PM Eastern — the last weekly cutoff before Thanksgiving. Order early: smoker capacity is limited.
- Receive. Tri-Cities customers pick up or get local delivery Thanksgiving week; the exact window is shown at checkout. Shipped dinners leave frozen by FedEx Ground, and checkout confirms the arrival window for your address.
- Heat and serve. Everything arrives fully cooked with reheating instructions. No shopping, no cooking, no flour-dusted counters.

If someone at your table has celiac disease, Thanksgiving usually means two menus, a separate pan, and a quiet worry about the gravy spoon. When the whole meal comes from a kitchen that never brings wheat, barley or rye through the door, nobody has to play food cop on a holiday.

Is the entire Thanksgiving menu gluten-free?
Yes. SmashMeals cooks in a dedicated gluten-free facility in Kingsport, Tennessee. We do not bring wheat, barley or rye into the building and do not share equipment with gluten-containing production. A gluten-free facility is not an allergen-free facility, so check each label for dairy, eggs, nuts and other allergens.

Can you ship a gluten-free Thanksgiving dinner to another state?
Yes, to eligible addresses by $30 flat-rate FedEx Ground. Turkey, ham, casseroles, dressing, mac and cheese, cranberry sauce, gravy, rolls and pie can ship. Deviled eggs, potato salad, dip and cheesecake cups are local only. Shipped orders must be placed by Thursday, November 19 at 11:59 PM Eastern; checkout confirms the arrival window for your address.
Does the food arrive hot?
No. Everything is fully cooked. Local orders are fresh and chilled; shipped orders are frozen before they leave our kitchen. Each dish comes with reheating instructions.
Do I need a subscription?
No. Order for Thanksgiving only, or any week you like. Subscriptions are optional.
Can I send Thanksgiving dinner to someone as a gift?
Yes. Enter their address at checkout and add a gift note. It is a meaningful gift for a family member with celiac disease, a grieving family, or someone recovering from surgery.
Is there a dairy-free option?
The pumpkin pie is gluten-free and dairy-free. Other dishes vary, so check each item's label or call 423-525-2489 before ordering.
