Do Meals Come with Nutritional Information?
Yes—many current SmashMeals items list calories, protein, carbohydrates, and total fat, but the available fields and portions can differ by item. Compare the exact meal, portion, and options you plan to order. Fiber, sodium, saturated fat, serving weight, ingredients, and allergens should be treated as unknown when a clear item-level value or statement is not provided; missing information does not mean zero.

- Find the exact item: Open the live ordering menu, choose the meal you are considering, and read its full description and posted nutrition fields. Do not transfer numbers from a similarly named meal or an older menu.
- Match the selected portion and options: A dressing may use a 2 oz serving, a bulk item may offer several sizes, and a family meal may list nutrition per serving instead of for the whole package. Rice, sides, dressings, and portion choices can change the stated amounts.
- Read estimates correctly: A value marked with ~ or ≈ is approximate. Compare only the fields actually supplied for the selected item; missing fiber, sodium, saturated fat, or serving weight does not establish a zero or a low-nutrient claim.
- Handle ingredients and allergens separately: A dedicated gluten-free kitchen is not an allergen-free kitchen. When an item-level ingredient or allergen detail is missing, contact SmashMeals before ordering rather than inferring suitability from the meal name or macros.
- Use personal targets carefully: Posted nutrition information does not prove that a meal meets a medical diet, medication plan, sports-fueling plan, or clinician-directed nutrient limit. Compare the available values with the targets provided by the eater's care team.
- Before paying: Confirm the item name, selected portion and options, listed nutrition values, any required missing detail, current price, and fulfillment choice. The package label is the final meal-specific reference when it provides more current information.
