You can order SmashMeals without signing up for a subscription. Choose a one-time order for the week you need meals, or review the recurring option if you prefer repeat ordering. The right arrangement depends on your schedule and how you want to manage purchases.

For someone taking a GLP-1 medicine, flexible ordering can make meal shopping easier to manage. It is an ordering choice, not a medical treatment or a reason to follow a fixed pattern of eating tied to medication doses.

One-time and recurring orders: what to check

Ordering choiceBefore confirmingBefore the next week
One-time orderChoose your items, confirm fulfillment and check that the order is one-time.Decide whether you want to place another order before the weekly cutoff.
Optional recurring orderRead the current billing schedule and rules for editing, skipping or ending the recurring order.Review the next order and any applicable change deadline in your account.

Check the confirmation for the ordering option you intended. If anything is unclear, contact SmashMeals before relying on an assumption about future charges or changes. A new one-time order does not itself change any separate recurring arrangement you may already have.

Count meal slots before choosing quantities

Look at the coming week: which work lunches and dinners need prepared food? Account for family meals, travel and usable food already at home. Check dates and storage instructions before counting an existing meal toward the plan.

For example, two work lunches plus two dinners create four meal slots. If one is already covered by food you can use, you might choose three prepared meals for the remaining slots. This is a shopping example, not a statement about how much you should eat.

Use your own nutrition plan to decide portions and additional foods. The number of items in a basket does not describe your daily calorie or protein needs.

Know the weekly rhythm

  1. Review the menu: the weekly menu is updated on Monday. Availability and prices come from the current ordering page.
  2. Choose the meals: read the actual ingredients, serving information and nutrition for each item.
  3. Confirm fulfillment: select an available pickup location, eligible local delivery or eligible shipping destination.
  4. Check the order type and total: include any delivery or shipping charges before paying.
  5. Order before the cutoff: regular weekly orders close Thursday 11:59 PM Eastern.

If you are close to or past the cutoff, check the fulfillment date shown before ordering. Do not assume a late order will be ready for the upcoming pickup window.

Choose a fulfillment option that fits your week

Local pickup and eligible Tri-Cities home delivery use fresh meals. Review the pickup directory for the actual collection window. Local delivery eligibility and charges are confirmed at checkout.

Shipping is $30 flat-rate FedEx Ground for eligible addresses. Shipped meals are frozen before leaving the kitchen, and arrival timing varies by destination and carrier conditions. Confirm the recipient address and arrange for someone to receive and store the food.

There is no minimum order, but check the total cost for the quantity you want. A flat shipping charge can account for a larger share of a small purchase. See our meal-delivery comparison guide for a simple way to compare delivered costs.

Adapt purchasing without guessing about treatment

You can choose different foods or quantities when you place a new order. If appetite or symptoms make it difficult to eat or drink, ask your prescriber or dietitian for help. Do not use a meal-service schedule as a guide to medication timing, dose changes or skipped meals.

Our weekly meal-planning guide helps organize food around your calendar. Our GLP-1 meal-label guide explains what to check when comparing dishes.

Place the order you intend to place

SmashMeals prepares food in a dedicated gluten-free Kingsport kitchen. Review ingredients for other allergens, keep the meal labels for storage and reheating, and check your order confirmation after purchase.
